The One About Tubes

August 13, 2013 by Katie Moore

A few days ago some little boys came to our house to borrow a movie.  “We want the one about tubes,” they told Rachel.  Rachel, needless to say, was a bit confused.  She asked the boys what the tubes were like, what people were doing with the tubes, and other pertinent questions, but the boys didn’t know.  They ran back home to ask their sister and she just said, “It has tubes in it.”  Finally the story came out that they had heard about this movie from another neighborhood boy.

The next day when Rachel saw him, she asked him, “Have you seen a movie about tubes?”  He enthusiastically said that he had and that is was really good.  Rachel asked him the same questions.  He was a little more helpful and said that the people were fighting with tubes, because surely they didn’t have any machetes to fight with.

Aha!  The light went on.  Was one tube blue and one tube green?  Check.  Were there strange people in it that looked like animals? Check.  I had forgotten the lesser-known tag line for that movie.  Star Wars: An Epic Adventure Involving Tubes
