We’re back home…

February 13, 2007 by

this was our transportation up the mountain road!

God undertook in marvelous ways to get us to our village. He provided rides with two of our fellow missionaries in their private vehicles, instead of having to use public transportation!

God gave strength to make the hike, even though our bodies were sore for days afterwards, it showed us how "out of shape" we are.

It was good to be able to return at the same time as the Harts. We had a wonderful reception from the villagers.

The termites were busy while we were gone and we found major damage to the floor in our house. Praise the Lord with us that it has already been repaired!  God provided the lumber and the laborers to do the job.

We hope to move into our own house soon!  We are thankful we’ve had Ron & Michelle Jennings’ house to live in for the meantime.

They plan to return to the country in early March, and will be back in the village as soon as they can. Michelle is doing ok since her knee surgery and we’re praying for a full recovery.

The church seems to be doing well here. Thanks so much for your partnership in prayer and financial support!

It’s good to be back to the work God called us here to do.

Secure in Christ’s love,

Lance & Laura
