It’s hard to believe another year is upon us. The past is irretrievable, we can only look forward and follow our Lord in the path He has given us to walk. He is FAITHFUL!
Yesterday we returned to Manila from our annual conference. It was refreshing to hear such wonderful, basic truths from Scripture! We also enjoyed great fellowship and good food.
We are very grateful for so many people praying for us. While we are in Manila, Lance is seeing a doctor in hopes to find out what is causing his physical problems. He is scheduled to see an infectious disease specialist on the 9th.
The doctors we have seen over the past few months ordered ultrasounds to see if they could see anything wrong. The only thing they found was two rather large kidney stones in the left kidney. So, while we wait to see the specialist Lance is trying a “home remedy” for kidney stones.
If that doesn’t work, we’ll have to schedule an appointment with a urologist. If it does work, we’ll have saved over a thousand dollars in medical fees!
The consultant check for the book of Luke is scheduled for the 25th of this month. We want to be there for that so we’ll wait until after that if we need further medical attention.
