Answered Prayer: In our last update we were headed to Dallas for an SYIS workshop. Prayers were answered for a very successful workshop. There were 23 participants from several different countries and cultures. We learned a lot – about the deaf culture from several participants who work with The Deaf Bible Society, and from others who are from or work in cultures around the world. It was an amazing time. Thank you for praying.
Travel: We were only home for a few days before our road trip to Alabama, Florida and South Carolina. We had eye exams (and we both got new glasses) participated in a coaching workshop, saw many ministry partners and dear friends.
Thank you for praying for us! We praise God for safety over so many miles traveled and wonderful times of fellowship. One of our friends showed us a book mark in the Bible she inherited from her dad. That brought back some great memories! (we had those made in the Philippines for our first home assignment – 1986.)
Translation: Lance is working on translating Nehemiah for the Higaunon. Please keep praying for wisdom for him and our coworkers, Ron & Michelle Jennings, hard at work in the village. We look forward to being back there with them and our dear brothers and sisters, the Lord willing, late January or early February.
Thank you: You prayed and God answered. Last week we purchased our tickets to the Philippines!
With American Thanksgiving right around the corner we express our thankfulness to God for all His blessings. Each of you is included in our prayers and thankfulness for your partnership in the ministry – not just on one day, but every day.
