As cold water to a weary soul, So is good news from a far country. Proverbs 25:25

News from our other home:

We received a letter this morning from one of the Higaunon church leaders. He wrote that over 400 visitors came last month for a youth conference. We looked for pictures of this online and found that this conference included a baptism. Praise the Lord! Please pray that these young people will be faithful to walk in obedience to the Lord. (We sure miss being there and seeing events like these first hand.)
He asked us to share the following prayer requests with those who will pray:
- Please pray for Gidyun, a young man who is training to be a Bible teacher. Pray that he’ll continue to walk faithfully with the Lord.
- Please pray for Linhaw, one of the Bible teachers who is being treated for tuberculosis.
- Finally, please pray for an outreach downriver from our village. The Bible teacher there reports that there are cults who want him to be removed. Please pray that the teaching will continue and that many more will come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. This is obvious an attack from Satan who hates what is happening there.
Thank you for praying for these things.
Our Trip:
We had a wonderful trip to Laura’s home area to attend the funeral we mentioned in our last update. Harriett leaves behind a wonderful legacy. The world needs more people like Harriett. She never used social media, but she sure had followers that she prayed for faithfully.
Thank you:
We are so grateful for each of you who partner with us in prayer and financial support so we can do what God has given us to do.
Secure in Christ’s love,
Lance & Laura
