Yes friends we are still in South Africa and it seems that we will be here for up to 3 months longer due to VISA difficulties. Please pray with us for patience and who knows maybe God can open doors even earlier so that we can go to also reach those who have not yet been reached.
Some students from Potch. visited us recently with Oom Koos, and we had a great time! They came to Adullam to get a good mission experience. And they helped Johan with the tomato project. They worked so hard, and they finished the frameworks for another 2 tunnels. We also had good fellowship, and laughed a lot while playing a few board games at night.
Thank to all of you, we’ll do this again!
If there is anyone else who is interested in helping us with some projects, let us know, and we can arrange something…
The team is removing all the old plants to make
Check out the guys building the frames for one of the tunnels.
And here is the whole team looking good at the end of the day
Naomi recently had her fifth birthday. She had one party at Grandma Aretha’s house, one at Adullam, and one at Grandma Connie’s house. Maybe that’s the reason why everyone in her class now thinks that she is 8 years old. Here is Naomi with one of the gifts from her party…
I am turning 5 years old and am very happy!
Can’t wait for that cake and gifts…
We are trying to make the best use of the final few months to visit with our friends and family. The whole family each had 4 inoculations for our going to Papua New Guinea. And the kids were really brave. Naomi even got it right to not even utter one sound with her last injection-a very good achievement! T he kids are also enjoying time with family and friends. The more the days, the more the games. Their favourite game is playing (acting) the birth of Jesus…and believe it or not, Marlou got the roll for baby Jesus! Well, if you know Marlou… Madeleentjie en Naomi is doing very well in school and we enjoy good e-tv once they start reciting all their poems and scriptures.
Here we are visiting with some friends from Phalaborwa. We took the kids to the local duck pond and there they had a ball of a time.
A nice day with the family at the local duck pond.
Marie’s parents enjoy the park with the kids.
Marie’s mother and aunt Adriana. Minaar and Adriane are very special friends of ours’
I thought of introducing some of our friends here in South Africa. This is Johan and Christine Steenkamp and are friends working with us on Adullam Mission. He is in charge of the new greenhouse project and she is running the office and admin of the mission. We often barbeque together and I greatly respect them as people who really love the Lord and focused on living a sanctified live.
I close with a picture from our valley. In the Winter the sunsets are really beatifull. May we as Christians shine and really make a diffrence in this world we are living in.
Please pray with us:
· Thank God for his provision for us here in South-Africa.
· Pray for the visa situation
· We need lots of wisdom in packing and shipping our goods.
· May God work in the hearts of the people we are going to, and prepare them or the Word coming to them.

>Good to see you’re doing well – I know you’re anxious to be on your way, but soon enough you will be. Immunizations are fun, aren’t they? We didn’t have to get immunized but to get our visas we had to submit HIV tests that required our blood drawn – even Steven’s. He didn’t do badly, either, just like yours, sounds like. You’re in our thoughts here, good luck!
