>Hi and Welcome
Always nice to have visitors checking out our site! Please check out the links that provides with some more info on our work as well as pictures.
Things are going well here in Papua New Guinea. We are experiencing some change in the seasons, and as you know that is not much of a change. We are entering the rainy season and slowly getting more rain fall weekly.
I have completed my time at Tribal Supply and will always look at a great time serving many missionaries in hard to reach bush locations. I learned so much of the internal structure of such an organisation as NTM and also just once again realised the vital role support plays in assisting missionaries! For the next few weeks I will be helping leadership at Sobega update some information used for new orientees coming later this year and next year as well. I will also be busy with maintenance and housebuilding on the premises and other locations. This will be a great time of gathering experience for when we start with our own housebuilding projects next year! Here is a short clip of my work at Tribal Supply:
I always wanted to start showing some movie clips, so here is another clip of our house in PNG. This is only the outside and will not be living here for long as we will be moving to a nother reagion soon.
Our house is of course the one with the SA flag.
Marie is still continuing with homeschooling both Madeleen and Naomi and we are very much encouraged by their progress. Recently they received a package from some friends in America, and here are some pictures of them with their new clothes!
Marie is doing well in the pregnancy and she went for a scan recently. To our great surprise the doctor is now questioning his first observation of the baby being a girl and it seems that it could maybe be a boy. We are thus very exited to have the baby in October and still do not know for sure if it’s a boy or a girl? Here are some pictures of Marie’s last scan.
Please continue to pray with us as our time in Sobega is drawing to an end. We will soon move down to the Islands region where we will be ready to locate in some tribal work. Thus pray for provision from the Lord to make the move, as well as to prepare for our housebuilding. Also continue to pray for the people with whom we will work! That they may now already experience a burdened conscience and start seeking salvation.
Thanks so much for your effort in this work!
