>Hi thanks for visiting our site. Pleace check out our latest news and feel free to surf around the other links.
We thank the Lord for the privilege to be able to speak at different churches. This has something the Lord has provided for us during this year. It is a great privilege to share with others a Biblical perspective on missions as well as to challenge them with those in need of the Gospel. It is great to see people react in different ways, some people respond by dedicating themselves to pray for us, others will assist us financially and others are considering joining the work! Wow, wonderful!! It often takes a bit of preparing to do such a presentation. I need to prepare in prayer and to prepare my presentation, which consists of sharing from God’s word and presenting our future work in Papua New Guinea. Marie usually prepares the presentation and other skids we will use as illustration. This whole thing is a family affair with the kids joining in with the preparations and with the presentation. Here is a few photos of the whole process.
I am berbequeing as usual
We had nice devotions in the open air.
We are very much exited because of the fact that our application process for Work permits and visas has started. We are very thankful for the fact that it has started earlier and we hope to move to Papua New Guinea sooner than we thought. In the mean time we are still working on the mission base in South Africa. I am building at the hostel building and occasionally helping with the greenhouses and Marie is working at the school. We will both start spending less time at the mission and more time with our supporters. This is the beginning of our last visits with friends and we hope to make the best of the last few months.
While we are waiting for our visas we are still busy with our work at the hostel and school. Here is a photo of the work at the hostel. We are currently busy building the last of the interior walls which is made possible through a generous donation which God has provided.
Here is photos of the guys planting the first plants in the new greenhouse. There are still 4 to be erected and you can continue to pray for this project.
Please pray with us for the following as we prepare to leave for PNG.
– A support cell in SA that will assist us in certain tasks here in SA.
– That our supporters will never loose their momentum.
– An international medical that we could use and the funds for it.
– Assistance in our final preparations for leaving.
– That the Lord will start working now already in the hearts of those we would like to reach.
Thanks for your support and hope to hear from you soon
Cheers from the Laureti’s
