>It is long since I have updated my news. I must say we do not have much news lately. I am still working tribal supply and Marie si continuing with homeschooling the kids. I will start working at Sobega base soon and then after the baby is born in October we will be moving down to Hoskins.
Marie recenlty had her 30th birthday and even though we missed enjoying the time with our family in SA we had a great time with friends here in PNG. We had a good meal the afternoon, roasted chicken, which is a big treat in PNG due to the fact that a chicken costs about R80. The evening we had a nice time of fellowship and games with lots of cakes and treats! Here’s Marie on her birthday…..
The kids had a great time lately, with the schools being closed and many kids being around to play. Even though the nationall schools are closed, our kids will continue with schooling. Both Madeleen and Naomi are busy with the ACE curriculum. Naomi has started with grade 1 and Madeleen with grade 2 and 3 work. Here is a few pics……
Heres Marlou with her friend, Joram, from the Netherlands.
If you do not know what is stokbrood, you are really missing a good treat! It’s bread made over the fire and then you can eat it with something sweat inside! Really good….
Madeleen has had some trouble with allergies! Her eyes really swell up badly so please continue to pray for their health and espesially for her allergies!
