The kid’s summer holiday was pretty short! After a month they are back in school. Callie starts 5th grade and Elias 3rd. Pray for them to learn well and for Elin as she teaches them.

When we were in town Callie was able to celebrate her birthday….again. Since she was able to have so many friends around we decided to celebrate again. This was her third (and final) party.

Callie and Elias’ friends, Garret and Avery Morrison, returned from furlough this last week so they were reunited again. The kids had a good time reconnecting (as did their parents).

We had a wonderful time on our break. We stayed with friends and enjoyed eating out, spending time together, and relaxing.

Ahhh! Relaxing by the side of the pool while the kids have fun swimming! We have been staying with friends in a town far away from where we live and trying our hardest to do as little as possible. So far we have been successful.

We are nearly half-way through the teaching. Next week, after we finish teaching lesson 36, we plan to take a week long break. We will teach the lessons on how God gave the Law to the children of Israel and then let them ponder on it for a week. We too will be taking a […]
