As mission mobilizers, we are working to build teams to reach people who have no access to the Gospel. Raising awareness of remote tribes, presenting opportunities to get involved, leading people toward effective training and showing God’s values from His written word are our daily activities.
“How do I know God’s will for my life?” “What does it mean to walk by faith?” “What training do I need to serve in tribal church planting?” “Why should I work with New Tribes Mission?” “What are the qualifications for working as a missionary bush pilot?” This past year we have answered these sincere questions and many more while actively seeking people who are able to work with us toward planting indigenous, Bible-believing, reproducing tribal churches.
The treasure of heaven and earth is Jesus Christ. He is the light of the knowledge of the glory of God. He is the pearl of great price. He is our all in all. We must first seek Him ourselves, then declare or “show forth the praises of Him who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.” (1 Pet. 2:9)
Seeking to love God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength, we Christians then seek to love our neighbors as ourselves by leading them to the greatest treasure: Jesus.
God has a plan which is so much, much greater than the here and now. He has promised a new heaven, a new earth, a new home, a new name, a new body in a city where there is no sorrow, where tears are wiped away, where corruption is no more and where He is the light. These promises invite us to put aside immediate pleasure for the sake of His glory and for the future of other people whom He also loves. How else will they hear, believe and receive His blessings?
God has chosen to involve you and me – the recipients of His grace – working together, by faith, to proclaim His goodness to those who have not yet heard.
One-third of the world’s people groups still have no knowledge of the Savior. There is no Scripture in most of their languages and no Christian in their midst to share the Gospel in a language they understand. While the media informs us of disasters in remote parts of the world it does not inform us of the desperate on-going need for Christians to take the Gospel to these 2500 people groups who have never heard of God’s love for them.
We are privileged to represent the needs of these remote people whom God loves. We speak in churches, Sunday schools, universities and camps to declare God’s glory to all age groups along with the need, the privilege and the responsibility we have toward the unreached as God’s ambassadors.
We are so grateful to partner with you in raising up laborers to finish the Great Commission! We dare to think that this can be accomplished in our generation. Thank you for partnering with us in prayer, encouragement and sacrificial giving. We are so grateful for you!
