“Wow” is the one word I keep saying everyday as I’m here. God has provided in SO many ways:
through people having me for dinner to free goodies from the mission barrel here (like a desk and a food dehydrator). It does make the transition easier. I keep pinching myself that I’m really here. I LOVE it here! Thank you for praying! I’m so excited to be part of the creative team here at the communications department.
Due to the remote location of the people groups NTM works with, aviation plays a key role in ministry. We are working on a video project about the 14 new Kodiak planes that NTM is purchasing. I’m doing the second edit on the project. Please pray that the story will come together and that our team will have creativity and wisdom as we fine-tune the project. A couple weeks ago, Macon Hare, Ian Fallis and I traveled to Nashville, TN to work on the story with the filmmakers who shot the footage. It was exciting to meet the rest of the team.
I’m also working on short videos challenging people to get involved in missions. To start with, we are putting together quotes and images in a short video. It is challenging for me to make this look sharp. As I keep working through rough ideas, it does seem to be coming together. Please pray (you may get tired of hearing this…) for clear story idea, dynamic images and creativity with the text. Also pray that the project will be effective and that we will know the best places to utilize it.
Thank you SO much for investing your prayers. Prayer is the work – and without God we can do nothing. Thank you for standing with me, interceding, and for the vital role you are playing to make disciples.
