Arrived in the Moi Tribe

November 19, 2008 by Regina Rodman

Nate & Ben set up a timelapse of the beautiful landscape.

We flew into the Moi Tribe today, and have arrived safely with all our equipment!

We were just 6 kilos underweight for the plane flying into the tribe. We are all a bit jet lagged (I’m dizzy), but seem to be doing well otherwise. We are 14 hours ahead here. All the excitement of a new place has given me some adrenaline for when I needed it.

We’re going to hike up to a cliff today – about 30 minutes – and film some timelapses and plan some shots for when the helicopter comes. This is the cliff where the helicopter landed when the missionaries made first contact/surveyed the tribe. It took eight years to build the airstrip that we landed on today. Later, after dinner tonight, we’ll be having a meeting to go over the script and plan things out, so please pray for unity and clear communication.

Right now it is raining, and we are taking a jet lag siesta!

It is a blessing that the internet is working right now, and we are able to update our blog. http://ntmfilms.wordpress.com.

Thanks for your prayers!
