Dear Family & Friends,
I was searching for some info on the people groups I mentioned who were hearing the Gospel, and found Pasei’s testimony, a video made by the Wantakia missionaries.
Pasei said: “But that temple curtain right over there – the one that we saw rip this week – that’s the open door that matters! That’s the LORD’s door. And it’s open! It’s for having life with Him. All the other ways we try to go, no. They don’t lead us to the LORD.”
I love that open door! And Hebrews 6:19-20 tells us too that Christ is our sure and steadfast anchor behind the veil. And in Hebrews 3:15-16, we read that our High Priest sympathizes with our weaknesses and that we can come boldly to the throne of grace. We have that open door to come to God!
Praise the Lord for the work He is doing in the hearts of the people of Wantakia and other people groups around the world.
Salvation is just the start, and the missionaries continue to disciple the newborn believers. And we know from this year just how much work a baby is! We are just catching our breath again now that Felicity is a little bigger.
Filming my dad teaching Wisdom Literature for the online Bible classes.
Filming Online Classes
Thanks for praying for my next project. God opened the doors for me to film two of my dad’s classes for the Ethnos360 Bible Institute’s (EBI) online courses. We squeezed in one class before Felicity was born, and filmed the wisdom literature after that. Now I’ll be filming Butch Bennett teaching Galatians for the EBI. Please pray that that class will come together well in God’s timing and all the details will work out.
Setting up Remote Computers
As staff shuffles to different offices, Scott has taken care of IT needs and moved their computers. He’s also done a lot of setup to help people work remotely from home, due to covid restrictions. With Marc, our IT security expert, Scott is testing a new wifi setup for laptops at the home office. This will make it easier for staff and meeting attendees to connect to the system on their laptops and devices. And, of course, he’s been doing the usual testing of new machines for stateside, field workers’, and home office orders and troubleshooting the phone system.
Thank you for partnering with us to see the gospel go to the ends of the earth. And thank you to those who helped with Felicity’s registry! We appreciate your generosity!
