Dear Family & Friends,
I was encouraged to see discipleship that spans generations as I researched stories for social media.
One father in South America gathers his family each week to teach what he has learned, and recently his adult daughter was baptized. Missionaries continue to work on translation and discipleship.
In another people group one man finished teaching through evangelistic Bible lessons. People who didn’t attend that teaching now realize they missed out and are eager to hear him teach the lessons again. He also has a burden for several other villages in his language group.
We’re excited to work with Ethnos360 because of their commitment to discipleship and church planting. This enables people to stand strong in their faith and helps the gospel message spread farther than one missionary can take it.
Even as I saw those stories, I was also reminded that many have yet to hear. One missionary wrote:
“This is my friend Thaddeus. 7 years ago he started carrying letters to the neighboring people group 10 hours away over that mountain ridge in the background. And now every time I see him, he thanks us for finally hearing their cries.”
“They feel empty inside and know they need something but don’t know what it is. This past week we shuttled in via heli all of the materials for our team office. Inch by inch we are getting closer to telling these people the greatest story of all time. The best part is that Thaddeus doesn’t even know how good it’s going to be. I’m praying that his heart would be softened to trust in His Maker.”
Thank you for being a part of the team effort to reach people like Thaddeus around the world.
Regina is writing social media posts.
