Dear Family & Friends,
Recently we had a partnership trip to Michigan, and were able to connect with our sending church there. We are so grateful for your faithfulness and heart for missions, as well as your prayers for us.
Now we are heading soon on a trip to Indiana for a missions conference. We had wanted to fly, but don’t feel comfortable with it at this time. Please pray for our safe drive there and back. Also pray that we can be a blessing to the church during the week and be encouraged.
Computer Services: Learning Azure
Scott is keeping busy with his team at work: helping the receptionist with technical issues, working with the remote team to troubleshoot a printer network connection, and setting up new machines for the mission.
Scott is switching his personal workstation to an Azure device. This will give him more experience working with Azure and greater ability to assist missionaries. Azure is a secure way to work anywhere. It provides a safer protection for data for missionaries.
Working with Social Media
An opening has come for me (Regina) to focus on writing for the social media team for Ethnos360’s Facebook and Instagram channels. I’ve done this type of short writing before for radio and the website, and this shorter project seems like it will be a better fit for me for this next season. I look forward to working on this with my team (Ministry Advancement).
I had asked our mission teams to pray about what project I could do next, and it wasn’t until after the last missions team found our letter a few weeks later, God opened up this opportunity with social media! It reminded me how important each of your prayers are.
The new place
We are loving this new house, but are also feeling the loss of our community. I (Regina) have lived in mission or dorm housing my entire life! I’ve always have a friend just outside the door to visit with. However, this is a new phase and we are glad to be in a place to reach our neighbors. Please pray that we will be able to meet them and remember their names. We’ve also met kids at the local park, but not usually the same ones.
Thankfully, many little projects around the house are being completed (like chopping the trees on the drain field, replacing a leaking tank, sealing gutters, fixing ceiling fans and putting up a hammock hook). We are thankful for the help Scott’s parents have been for some of these things.
Grateful for you!
Thank you for your passion to partner with us to see a thriving church for every people, together fulfilling Jesus command to make disciples of every nation.
Love,
Scott and Regina Rodman
