Should I tell you about the endless days of travel? The CR/comfort rooms…aka bathrooms? Should I tell you about the fried bullfrogs and boiled bananas with salty mini-fish? Or should I tell you about the the incredible Pastor we met who walks every Friday to study God’s Word so he can be better equipped? Or the Higaonon man whose mother was a witch doctor? Or about the Philippino students God has called to reach others? Or how our jeep was stoned on our way to the fierce Tala Andig people? Or how the missionaries ate a meal with the guys who stoned us? Or about the peace God has brought to a woman’s marriage? Or the daily strength God gives to an elderly woman who heard the gospel in the last two years through the ministry of Higaonon missionaries?
Yep, it was a pretty incredible trip even when I found out at the airport that I bought tickets for the wrong day home…one day after the rest of the team!
We were able to do 17 video interviews and take photos in three people groups. I’m excited about the potential we have here for some short videos. And also overwhelmed by the other non-video work that is waiting for me. Pray that I will have strength through the jet lag, meekness at work, and that God will be glorified in all I do in the coming days.
Thank you so much for your prayers for the trip!
