New Tribes Mission’s New Home Office
It’s been a while since the move to the new offices was on the docket. Not days or weeks, but years. Yes, more years than I care to admit. But it has finally happened!
This Monday we officially began working at our new offices. And we’re loving it. We have more room, fewer people crammed into small spaces, and it is so much quieter. So much so that one of my co-workers worked partially through lunch because she didn’t notice the grand exodus!
There should have been before and after pictures of the old and new offices, but I didn’t think of it until the old offices were looking worse for wear with piles of boxes strewn hither and yon. That would have been an unfair portrayal of the old! But why don’t you join me on a quick tour of the new place!
Come on in!
Let’s head up to the sixth floor where I work.
Check out our lobby.
And here’s our kitchen/break room, …
… our conference room …
… and the office I share with my friend Chris.
Needless to say, we’re pleased to have left behind the limbo land of not knowing when the move would happen. Of course, we must toss in a bit of nostalgic sadness at leaving buildings with so much history, but we’re pleased nonetheless.
And personally? I’m looking forward to sitting at my new desk writing and editing for many years to come! Thanks for partnering with me so that I can do just that.

I’m not sure if it’s my phone, but there’s a repetitive paragraph above.
