He Makes No Mistakes

November 12, 2007 by

This week, Stephen had a language and culture assessment.  As we suspected, he still has far to go.  Since the majority of this year was spent developing Bible lessons in preparation for our partner to begin teaching, there has not been much time for progress in language study.  Yet, we were hoping.  This has been an opportunity for us to seek God’s face once more and to rest in His promises.  We don’t understand why the Lord is allowing the language learning process to take so long, while our Agutaynen friends and neighbors are dying without Him.  Yet we know that God loves our dear Agutaynens even more than we do.  We also know that Satan would like to hold our Agutaynen friends in his power.  There is a battle going on for the souls of the Agutaynens.  We press on in God’s strength, for His honor and glory, and wait for His timing.  Please continue to stand with us in prayer.
