Goin’ Fishing

December 1, 2007 by

Beni in his fishing boat

Stephen has been exploring the area of fishing most recently.  In preparation for going out fishing in the sea with a friend, he asked if there were things he should not do.  The response?  Don’t whistle!  Whistling is calling the wind, and you don’t want the wind to come while you are fishing.  Each experience that we can take part in with our Agutaynen friends will deepen our understanding of their language and culture, preparing for the day when our team can teach the Gospel.  Thank you for praying with us, fishers of men.
