Field Conference Highlights

We just returned from our annual field conference, and wanted to give you some of the highlights.

We are very thankful for the many people who were involved in making sure our kids had a great time.  A big ‘thank you’ to the team from California who came to work with our children!  Childcare is always a challenge for our younger kids, so we even more appreciate the loving care the workers put into ministering to them.

Abigail went happily to her class for the first time this year.  We prayed together weeks ahead of time in preparation for conference, asking God to help her be brave.  She was very glad to get through the whole week truly enjoying her class (and Mom and Dad were very happy for her as well).

Rebekah has never been anywhere that she has not enjoyed, and this conference was no exception.  She had a wonderful time renewing old friendships with the children of other missionaries who work on different islands.  And she always makes new friends too.

Stephen and Ginger took as many opportunities to talk with other missionaries and gleaned many helpful suggestions for language and culture study.  As we have now returned to the village, we will enjoy diving back into it, and making progress as the Lord enables.
