Written by Rebekah:

As missionary kids, it is always fun to have relatives or friends come over to the Philippines for a visit.  Just last month, my Grandma Sue and Aunt Marcia came over for a two-week visit.  This wasn’t my grandmother’s first visit but it was my aunt’s first visit.  Aunt Marcia saw everything in a new way than my Grandma and we did.  It is always interesting when someone sees with fresh eyes the culture of the Filipinos, and sees something that we had never noticed before.  My aunt took lots of pictures yet the hardest thing for anyone to do is to describe their visit.  I always enjoyed hearing their comments about this and that.  Most of all, I just enjoyed being with them.  They were able to see our village and participate in Youth Group, Church, and Kids’ Bible Club.  The villagers enjoyed showing my grandma and my aunt their way of living, like starting a fire and making a crab trap.  They had lots of questions.  We also did some island hopping and saw many beautiful fishes.  Every day we would all play games and just have fun together.  Those two weeks together went by quickly, but they left some fun memories.
