Root, Root for the Home Team

June 15, 2017 by Stephen and Ginger Jordan

For our children, coming back to the States is almost like going to Disneyland for any kid in America.  Our children get to see, taste, smell, and experience things they haven’t done in years or possibly never have done at all.  For our son Jonathan, one of his greatest desires this year was to play on a local baseball team and maybe even go to a Detroit Tigers game.   Currently, he is on a local team, often playing second base.

We thought that the Tigers game was out of reach, but this was “family week” in the Tigers Stadium, so our whole family was able to get tickets.

And last night, our family went with some friends to a Tigers game in Detroit.  Jonathan had a great time, even though our team lost.

Lord willing, this year we will make some good memories for the entire family.

Can you guess what Luke wants to do this year?  Take a look at the picture and let us know if you think you know what he wants to do.

What does Luke want to do?

Thank you again for your prayer for our time in the States and that we will be able to have some fun.
