Four for His Glory

September 14, 2020 by Stephen and Ginger Jordan

For over a year, our hearts have been burdened for a particular family in our village.  This family is a divided family with some being believers and others not.  The whole family, along with girlfriends, have faithfully attended our church since the dedication in December 2019.  So, we had prayed and encouraged other believers to start an evangelistic Bible study with them.  But after several months of nothing happening, Stephen approached the family and asked if they would be willing to have a Bible study in their home.  They talked about it, agreed to do so, and requested Stephen to teach three nights a week.

After a few weeks, we realized that we weren’t going to be able to finish the Bible study before our trip to Manila.  So, Stephen asked if he could teach four nights a week.  This was a very busy time and our family made some sacrifices.

Last Thursday night was the last lesson.  At that meeting, Stephen requested to meet once again on Saturday with the four main attendees of the meeting, who we were targeting with the Gospel message.  At the meeting on Saturday, each of these four were paired up with a believer in our church.  The believers spent time with each of these four and inquired if they had placed their faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior.  And what do you think?  All four expressed their personal faith in Jesus!  Praise the Lord with us!
