So Thankful

November 28, 2020 by Stephen and Ginger Jordan

This past Sunday, as our family was walking to church, we were sharing our thankfulness to be in the Philippines for an extra year.  If we had returned to the States as planned, we would have been very limited in what we were able to accomplish, and who we would have been able to see.  But by staying in the Philippines, we have had freedom to continue to minister among the Agutaynen people and prepare them for our time in the States.  We are so thankful for this extra time.

Great attendance at FBC.

Six months ago, we could not have imagined what is currently happening around the world.  Over the last few weeks, we have heard from several of our supporting churches.  Many of them have had to either postpone their mission conferences or had considerably lower attendance than previous years.  Our hearts and prayers go out to each and every one of these churches as they have had to handle the crisis in the States.  With these hurting churches in mind, our family was amazed at what the Lord is doing here in the Philippines.

We are also amazed and thankful for you.  We expected with the difficulty of these times that our church and individual supporters would find it necessary to decrease our support.  However, we have not seen a decrease at all.  God is so faithful, and we know He is faithfully supplying your needs as He continues to supply our needs through you.  Thank you.

So to summarize our thankful list this year:  We are thankful to be here in the Philippines, able to continue to minister.  We are thankful for you, our financial and prayer support team.  And we are thankful for our faithful God who is still in control, despite the incredible circumstances all over the world.

We just want to say: “Thank You!”
