The Final Whistle

July 24, 2022 by Stephen and Ginger Jordan

Yesterday was the finale of Sports Bible Camp with Championship Day.  In front of 200+ villagers, 60 teens played their final games.

These villagers received a gospel tract from Chick Publications entitled “Iyan ang Batas” (The Law), which was the theme of the Camp and all the Gospel messages shared in a variety of ways.

Throughout Championship Day games were played, a Gospel skit was shared, all players received prizes, and four teens were awarded “Sportsmanship” trophies.

Balls were given to top point earners.
Ginger gave the Sportsmanship trophy to the winning senior girl.
Stephen gave the Sportsmanship trophy to the winning senior boy.

We hope the Gospel message was received by the teens and villagers, as this is the greatest gift they could ever receive.  Lord willing, we will continue to proclaim the Truth when Youth Group is resumed in August.  Teens applauded the announcement of this news because Youth Group has been cancelled for over two years.

Thank you for your continued prayer for these teens and their families.
