Night of Prayer

April 1, 2023 by Stephen and Ginger Jordan

This past week, believers have been traveling village to village, church to church, to get the word out for Bible Camp.  One of the pastors invited them to return for a night of prayer with all the local pastors and an opportunity to share with them the Camp.  “Local” included pastors within an 1 to 1-1/2 hour drive.

After a 45-minute drive, we arrived at the designated church last night at 8:45 pm to find that the meeting had just begun.  In attendance were ten local pastors and several of their members.  At 10 pm it seemed that the service was wrapping up as the pastor finished his message.  But we hadn’t prayed yet.  Then one by one, each pastor shared prayer requests for their local church, and we prayed for his requests.  This continued one by one.  Our church leaders were also given an opportunity to share prayer requests and share about Bible Camp.  And like the rest, a time of prayer followed.

At 12:30 am, the last prayer with the main group was made.  After a time of snacks and fellowship, we went home.  But not everyone went home, all the local pastors stayed at the church to continue their night of prayer!

We are encouraged to hear about this group and their including Faith Bible Church in their night of prayer.  We’re not asking you to stay up all night to pray, but we do appreciate your prayer throughout this week as we organize and prepare, that God would be bringing teens to the Bible Camp, and that more would come to know Him as their personal Savior.  Thank you.
