Through the Lens

November 12, 2023 by Stephen and Ginger Jordan

It is said, “A picture is worth a thousand words.”  With that in mind, we want to take this update and share with you some of the pictures Stephen took during our first few weeks back in the village.

As you scroll through the pictures, taking a moment to read the descriptions, can you find four American brands that are seen in these pictures?  We would love to hear from you and see if you found all four.

Boy with his homemade Christmas kerosene canon. Filipinos love to make noise!
Filipinos love to have their picture taken.
All Saint’s Day, open drinks on a tomb for the deceased souls.
Filipino plowing a rice field.
One of our favorite flowers, a Hibiscus.
Game time at Kids’ Bible Club.
Ladies singing in church.

As you can see from several of these pictures, American merchandise is everywhere in our area. Also, you get a glimpse of the spiritual battle we engage in. One day, these American brands will be no more, but these people will spend eternity either in a place of torment or a place of joy.

Please continue to pray with us for these people.
