The Time Has Come

After months of planning, days of packing 170 gifts, and a night of little sleep for many of the believers who prepared a snack for all, we at Faith Bible Church hosted a Christmas program for the local elementary school.

Like most Christmas programs, games were played, Christmas songs were sung, and gifts were given.  But more importantly, the message was clearly proclaimed.  We asked one of church leaders to share the Gospel and he chose the theme of the program:  The Time Has Come.  He shared, as the time for Mary to give birth to Jesus came (Luke 2:6), so has the time come for everyone (the students, teachers and parents) to believe in Jesus alone as their Savior. 

Just prior to giving out the gifts, Stephen took a short opportunity to reemphasize that the gifts we gave them will only last a very short time, but the gift of eternal life will last forever.

Pray with us that these students (100+) and teachers (8) will clearly understand the true Gospel, and that salvation is apart from works, sacraments, and help from anyone else.
