The Third Will Be First

July 22, 2025 by Stephen and Ginger Jordan

To no one’s surprise in our family, Luke (our third child) was the first to get married.  Thus, the title of this update.

A few days before the wedding, we traveled over to Wisconsin to help with some the wedding preparations and to spend a little bit of time with Delainey’s family.

Luke and Delainey’s “guestbook” was a Bible and guests were asked to sign by highlighting a verse and writing a note.

We were touched by Luke and Delainey’s thoughtfulness of Ginger’s parents and other family members who couldn’t make it to the wedding.  Delainey specially crocheted some sunflowers for this table in memory of Ginger’s mom, Sue.

Pictures of all the relatives, including Ginger’s parents, who couldn’t make it to the wedding.

Just before the wedding ceremony, we caught a priceless picture of Luke and his groomsmen (including his brother Jonathan) huddled together and praying.

Luke and his men going to the Lord.

The wedding ceremony was short, simple, and sweet, just like this update.

Please pray with us for Luke and Delainey as they start their lives together and seek the Lord’s guidance for their future.
