We started out in the den of the Detroit Lions, passed by the Cleveland Browns, and ended up in the fields of the Buffalo Bills. As we journeyed, we passed corn fields, grape vineyards, and apple orchards. We saw the seagulls on Lake Erie, felt the mist of Niagara Falls, and traveled along Lake Ontario. We enjoyed some New York pizza, and some Filipino cuisine. What a fast and full trip we had this weekend!
The destination was West Somerset Baptist Church. Like many of our partners, this church has partnered with us for over 25 years, and they have expressed a continuation of that partnership as we move to Florida.
We ask you to pray for this church. Their auditorium probably could seat 300, but this last Sunday they had about 25 in attendance. This small faithful group have a desire to see the Gospel proclaimed. This month they reached out to the community through the county fair, shared in the local park, and hosted a Vacation Bible School. What an encouragement to see their faithfulness!
