One of the many facets of ministry in the Philippines that Stephen really enjoyed was the youth group. Interacting with and impacting the next generation for Christ was invigorating.
We thought that, by choosing a ministry that was focused on senior saints, we would be missing that ministry to the younger generation. However, we rejoice to say that the youth group in the Philippines is still continuing forward, and we have found another community of young adults that we are now impacting in Florida.
These young adults come from a wide variety of states and countries, from different backgrounds, and they do different jobs. Some are MKs that live in the area, some are interns here for a year or less, and some work full-time here at The Homes of Ethnos360 or at the Mission’s Home Office. The common factors are that they are all single, and they are all younger than we are! Twice a month, this group comes to our house for a meal, some testimonies, and some games. This group continues to grow, and we are reminded of when our house in the Philippines was bursting at the seams with the youth. We are blessed to be serving the Lord!
