Sweet Celebrations

December 15, 2024 by Stephen and Ginger Jordan

This past week began with the believers of Faith Bible Church celebrating their fifth anniversary in their new building.  They planned and led the service with singing, preaching, and eating.  We are so proud of the believers and excited to see them do this on their own.  The theme they chose for the celebration came from Romans 8:

“Nothing can separate us from the love of God.”

Throughout the week, Ginger made 241 sugar cookies and nine batches of vanilla buttercream frosting.  And then the week ended with our annual cookie-decorating party with the ladies of the church.  Some of the ladies thought this was a contest to see who could get the most frosting and sugar on a cookie.

Others took the time and made these cookies a work of art, a very yummy work of art.

These ladies all took a plate of cookies home, and Ginger gave each one a Christmas gift of Bible study books to help them to treasure God’s Word.

What happened to all the other cookies? We will let you know later this week in our next update.
