Ginger’s Favorite Color

October 6, 2025 by Stephen and Ginger Jordan

One of Ginger’s favorite colors is “fall.”  Her favorite color isn’t one color, but all the colors of fall together: red, orange, green, and yellow.  Along with the colors, we are enjoying the fall treats: glazed pumpkin donuts and pumpkin pancakes with cream cheese filling.  And guess what is on our fireplace mantle?

Well, with our move to Florida in 101 days, we might not see another Michigan fall for a while.  But without a doubt, Ginger will decorate our new home in Florida with as many fall decorations as she desires, and she is also hoping to decorate our chaplain office.  It might even smell like “fall.”  What do you think fall smells like?

As the days approach for our move, we are wrapping up our church meetings through November.  During these road trips to churches, we have been reading/listening to several books to better prepare ourselves for this new ministry and so we can encourage the retirees at The Homes.

Thank you all for your emails and words of encouragement during this time of transition.
