This is our official sorry – about – the – misleading – title – but – we – simply – do – not – have – enough – time – to – post – one – picture – every – day post.
Rachel has been taking pictures nearly every day, and she’s gotten some really good ones. We’ve basically changed the focus of project 365. Now, instead of taking a picture every day, we’re going to try to get to 365 pictures in as close to a year as possible.
It’s kinda funny that I say “we” so much, when my only contribution is posting it on the website. Rachel’s the artist here. Well, anyway, here’s the latest picture from Project 365:
This is one of my personal favorites. It’s called “Not-so-silent Night.” It was taken beside the road between my parents house and our house. It’s a view of the Northwest side of Colorado Springs, under the silhouette of Pikes Peak.
I love how the majestic mountains stand over the peaceful city lights, while cars fly by going who knows where. I think the reduced size doesn’t do it justice though, so you can click on the picture to see a much larger version of it (No, I didn’t put the original 3MB file on here).
hey rach that picture looks great you are turning to be such a good photographer lol 🙂
awesome
Great picture. When I clicked on it to make it bigger, the lone star in the foreground jumped out at me (not literally) and the “no right turn” sign that would lead to it.
