Within 48 hours of arriving back home in Wisconsin from the wedding, I was out east! I went to share more about what God is doing in My Country at a church in Virginia and with others out that way, but I also got to see good friends and have fun while I was at it. That’s the way to do a “business trip!”
Here I am sharing at the church. Thanks for the encouragement that you all are to me!
Do you like Heather’s new outfit? Sadly, I wasn’t able to bring Suzanne one this time. But I’m so glad that I’m adopted into the family and get her as my cousin when I’m out there (and the rest of the time, too)!
This young lady, Coumba, is from Senegal, and is working on studying for her GED. I loved getting to talk in French with her and help her study! (And her teacher, Suzanne’s mom, will never know how much of the jabbering we did was studying and how much was just chatting. Ahh, the joys of speaking another language!) 🙂
Saturday found us in Washington DC, where dozens of embassies had open doors. We visited the embassies of Colombia, Mozambique, Botswana, and several West African countries. Food, dancing, gifts, displays, etc. Lots of fun!
On my way home I got to stop in Boston to spend the day with a good friend Lauren. What a special time together!
I just got through looking at all the wedding pictures, just beautiful! I still picture your brother has a much younger kid. Very fun to see him as a handsome groom. I also enjoyed looking at your pictures from out east, and have to tell you your outfit is stunning, blue is your color, if our paths don’t cross while you are home, I will continue to follow you on your blog. And I will remain your faithful prayer partner. God bless you and the work you do Susie , love, Anita
I’m so glad you were able to come!!
