This post doesn’t have any pictures, and I imagine that most of you are glad about that fact. Yes, after spending a few days in the capital city I came back and, low and behold, the night guard had his first rat. He showed it to me. Yup, a dead rat. Not so tasty, if I do say so myself. But he was excited, and that evening he came back saying that his family loved it. He said that there are still more rats, though, so it gives him something to do at night – keep checking his trap to see if he’s gotten any more. No more yet, though he did say that he got 2 mice. But those smell bad so he doesn’t eat those. He just threw them somewhere. I don’t remember where, and I’m not sure I want to remember. I think it was on the road. At least if it’s not in the courtyard, wandering dogs, cats, chickens, and goats could eat them.
Well, there you go. I know you were all curious, so your curiosity can be at least partially satisfied now. One rat down, more to go. The saga continues.

Actually — I would have loved the caught rat or the rat on a spit photo. 🙂 I wonder if there are any others who are with me?
