Thanks so much for your prayers for Rachida’s eye surgery yesterday! She did have the surgery, but only one eye was removed. It sounds like they’ll send that in for a biopsy before removing the other. It also sounds like she’ll be continuing chemo in the meantime. But in talking to a missionary doctor this morning who went to see her last night, she was very encouraged by the cleanliness of the facility and by how Rachida pulled through the surgery just fine.
Please keep praying for little Rachida and her family. Oh, and there’s good news, too! A Christian lady has decided to spend the next week or so with them to help them out. So pray for her, too,and that she’d be a blessing and also be able to share her faith during this time.
Pray for continued healing and adjustment, too. Rachida is supposed to be getting fake eyes, so you include prayers that that will all go well as well. Thanks for your prayers!
Thank you for posting about her…..it’s hard to imagine. Thankful that that a Christian women will also be with her family. Prayers of thanks…..and prayers for stamina and adjustments continues.
