I arrived!

I made it to Senegal!  I was able to get a covid-19 test (needed for travel) and I even got my negative results almost 24 hours before I left for the airport.  🙂  I then had an uneventful trip and am adjusting to a new time zone (6 hour time change) and a new temperature (high around 90 every day, no a/c).  As I’m trying to stay away from people for a bit in order to not bring germs, I’ve enjoyed going up on the roof of my apartment building.  This little guy who lives next door looked like he wanted company!  I actually saw some on several of the nearby roofs – interesting.

Well, I just wanted to write a quick note to let you know that I arrived.  Thanks for your prayers!  If you think of it, keep them coming as I begin to venture out into the “big wide world out there” in the near future.  🙂
