I made it! Thanks for praying!

Thanks for your prayers!  My language and culture consultant was out here last week and she said that I’m at the level I need to be at!  (For those of you who know the terminology, I’m at “capable-high”.)  This doesn’t mean that I’m done learning by any means, but it means that I should now know enough that I can learn just by hanging out with people and continuing to ask questions and trying to understand.  It also means that I have the official green light to spend more of my time working on my write-ups and other things I need to do before starting translation and literacy primer development and whatever else is up ahead.  It’s true that I’ve already started on that a good bit with all of our “parties” here, but it’s so nice that one of the necessary steps is met!

It’s a testimony to God’s faithfulness that I’ve arrived at this point, too.  Among many other things, I didn’t know exactly how feasible it would be here in My City. But God is faithful, and I’ve made it this far here in My Country. Thanks for your prayers!
