FROM “EDITING IN APRIL…”

April 10, 2009 by

PRAY:

1- The Loron tribe in Ivory Coast has no resident missionaries. Paul is continuing to translate and develop Bible lessons and other teaching materials for the Loron believers from North Ireland. He and his wife are not able to return to Africa because of a health concern that they are still checking out with the doctors.
2- Paul plans to take a trip to West Africa sometime during the next few months to visit the Loron church. Pray for stability in Cote d’Ivoire, and progress towards democratic elections soon.
3- Martha and I will be going to Ontario to attend our mission’s MCR Committee conference May 13-15. Pray that we will be able to finish preparing the Worldview Trip orientation seminars we want to present at that time.

PRAISE:

1- We have had several more openings to present the challenge of reaching Animistic People Groups with the gospel.
2- We had a lovely visit from a retired missionary couple from Ivory Coast.
3- Mom Peterson’s health has been stable. We praise God for the joy He gives us as we serve Him from our home here in Alabama. Thanks for your prayers for us.
