We constantly have so much to be thankful for. We have heard from our missionary friends the Groenvelds, among the Komono people, that they have been able to move to a remote village closer to where the Komono speakers live. Their main Bible translation helper has moved back to his home town, so they are looking for more good friends and helpers in this new village. Lesley Wolfe, living with the Glaro people, will soon have another missionary couple, the Spietelsbachs, to join her in the village where she has been alone for months. And, here in Alabama, we continue to be encouraged by the mission projects that the Lord brings our way, as we seek to be a part of reaching “all the world” that still hasn’t heard the Good News. By next month you may be able to see one of the New Tribes Mission videos online, with French subtitles.
PRAISE:
1- A missionary couple has moved to a remote village close to the Komono people, not too far from where they formerly ministered before all missionaries had to leave the area in 2003.
2- God is giving us mission projects and ways to be involved in world missions, even as we care for Martha’s mom, here in our home.
3- That Martha’s mom is pleasant to care for, and basically healthy, though her stamina is failing.
PRAY:
1- for good Bible translation helpers for the missionaries among the Komono people.
2- for the young missionary couple joining the Glaro team, as they adjust to and learn the Glaro culture and language.
3- for inspiration and accuracy as I translate mission material into French.
Thankful to be serving the King,
Theo & Martha Enns
