We have heard from several of our former co-workers in Côte d’Ivoire this month, and the Good News of Christmas is continuing to be spread, or getting closer to being shared, in several different languages – which we list in our Praise items below.
This month we look forward to having our sons and their families come visit during the Christmas season. We will also be building a wheelchair ramp for Martha’s mom in the carport, so this month will be pleasantly busy.
For those who would enjoy seeing one of our recent French translation projects, click on the video image here and watch it with the text in French subtitles. The English version of this story of a Moi tribal person from Indonesia who recently accepted the Good News is the one on last month’s blog article.
PRAISE and PRAYER:
1- A missionary lady in Côte d’Ivoire is starting to use the French “Building on Firm Foundations” (that we translated) with her market friends.
2- The Groenveld’s are progressing well in the Komono Bible translation, and ask for prayer for the new believers to be bold in their faith.
3- The Briggs’ are moving back among the Loron people, to continue NT translation – they ask for prayer to be able to move back into Côte d’Ivoire soon.
4- The Speitelsbach’s are moving into a remote Glaro village in Côte d’Ivoire to start learning their culture & language, although the Glaro people also live in Liberia.
5- Pray that this will be a month of real peace progress for the peoples of Côte d’Ivoire.
6- We are finishing a second French translation project; and want His guidance in what other projects to pursue next.
Wishing peace and good will for all men, in all languages,
Theo & Martha Enns
