Greetings to our praying and supporting team,
We are writing from town and have been out for a little more than a week from our tribe. We’ve greatly enjoyed a week of fellowship at our area conference. The speaker had excellent reminders and teaching on being fully satisfied with our Lord and finding all we need in Him.
The different team reports (from other laborers) about what God is doing in different parts of this island we’re encouraging. Also we had small group sharing times with national believers as well as other foreign workers. This and many other things were all part of being fueled and energized in God. The kids truly enjoyed a VBS program put on by 4 ladies from Iowa. A good time was had by all!!!
Our family has been doing well. Naomi our school helper continues to work diligently with the girls and we’re very thankful for her. We had the privilege of having our school helper from last year, Sandra back with us while we’ve been in town. She came for a short visit and was a help to many during our conference here as well. Titus is enjoying hanging out with older boys here at our mission home. He’s learning how to share and use words instead of hitting and shoving:) Important life lessons!
Torin is now 9 months and would love to start to walk any day now. He pushes chairs all around the room as he strengthens those legs.
Tim will take a trip into a village area next week for 5 days. He will be teaching at a small training center for tribal couples who are wanting to be equipped to effectively do church planting. Pray he has wisdom and direction to share experiences and truths that will equip these eager learners.
While we’re out in town we’re hoping that the believers in the village are taking initiative to meet together and sing and read God’s Word together. We’ve left them with all the materials to do just that in hopes that they will want to continue to meet together even though we’re not in the village with them. Pray for them to take baby steps and begin to own these things even in small ways!
Thanks so much for your prayers and emails and care packages. Many of you have walked with us for a long time and we are truly grateful!
Let’s find satisfaction in Christ,

Hi Joyce,
Thanks so much for your emails and your encouragment. You are an amazing Jesus follower and we thank you for all the people you have touched and loved all these years!
We’re feeling recharged and ready to head home for another 3 months or so before we head to town again.
Thank for your continued prayers for finding balance with family and ministry. Always so much to be done in a day. But God gives us what we need bc His grace is sufficient!!!!!
Love,
Andrea for us

“Finding all we need in Him”. Reminds me of Paul being told, when he asked for healing: My grace is sufficient.
It seems that all my prayers include requests, from small to large. I have to remind myself that His Grace is such a mind blowing, earthly life changing, stupendous, undeserved and unearned gift!
And yet, He showers us continually with blessings, so many that we can’t possibly be aware of most of the good He does for us. On top of His grace!
For He holds all things together so every single heartbeat and every single breath is at His will. And as I look on my surroundings I see so many comforts that He provides. Not just these creature comforts that are so good but the ways He sends His love and encouragement to us, from Him but through others. A smile, a hug, kind words, kind acts. His timing is always perfect.
If He whispered in my ear “My grace is sufficient” in answer to yet another plea and I found myself floating in the middle of the ocean without a life support, (well, it happens!), my honest answer would have to be “Yes,Lord. Yes,yes,Lord.”
