Greetings to our faithful long-time supporters and also to our newly added friends,
We are so thankful for each one of you as we see God raising up new followers and supporters and continue to appreciate those of you who have followed us for many years.
Our church in Florida had a missions conference this past weekend and thanks to the body of believers wanting to be engaged in God’s work around the world, we now have new friends walking with us!
As a quick family and ministry update we are finishing our time in the coastal town, where our mission has a home for us to use when in town. We usually come out to town every 3-4 months to get supplies, do visa paperwork, meet with our education directors that are helping with Dina and Abby’s schooling and also to be refreshed.
Tim is currently finishing up a recording project this week. He is recording all of the lessons he has written for the 2nd phase of Bible teaching. With the use of cell phones even in the tribe, people are able to have these lessons on their phones and listen to them and review the lessons at their convenience. It’s always funny when we go out visiting in the village and hear Tim teaching a lesson in the tribal language from someone’s phone, sometimes quite loudly!
It’s so helpful for him to be able to record them here in town where it’s relatively quiet. When he’s tried it in the village we have chickens, pigs, kids, and many other interruptions making it impossible to make progress on this project.
While here in town Dina had her standardized test, the girls have enjoyed town friends to play with, new books from our library here at the mission home and a variety of food and snacks we can only get in town. Torin has turned 10 months now, has basically become a walker since being here, and has a new best friend, the dog Otto, who he says his name all day long. Titus has enjoyed interacting with new friends. the trampoline, and swing set that we have here.
We plan to head interior on Sunday for about 3 months. It will be our last few months with our homeschool helper Naomi from the UK. We’ve really enjoyed having her with us this year and the girls have learned so much from her!
Thank you so much for your interest and care for us while we live and serve here in Asia Pacific. We are blessed and encouraged by the faithfulness of our long-time supporters and by the many new friends who have joined our email list!
Please let us know if there is any way we can serve you or keep you better informed. In addition to these email updates we have a short weekly prayer update we send out on Sunday night if you would like to know how to pray specifically for the needs that week. You can contact us at tim_ullum@ntm.org
Blessings and Hugs,
Tim, Andrea, Dina, Abby, Titus, & Torin Ullum
