How are you doing? We finally are enjoying some spring weather, which is quickly turning into summer heat!
Please be praying for our students. Last week we sent them out on their own to an Indian village in the mountains for their third and final language & culture practicum (without us teachers). They will be there a total of almost five weeks. We are very encouraged with their work and how they’ve handled this new opportunity to use the language & culture skills they’ve learned here at the Ranch in an Indian village. All of these practicums & training that we’ve done with them are designed with the ultimate goal of communicating clearly in the native language of the tribal people in a culturally correct way the good news of the gospel! Our students are less than two months away from finishing the training and getting ready for the next phase in their missionary service!
Edwin, Anita, and I will be driving out today to do a visit to see how they are coming along in their practicum and offer ways to encourage them. Please pray for me as this is the longest amount of driving I’ve done since the surgery (it’ll be good practice for driving to Oregon this summer). We’ll be returning to the Ranch on Wednesday.
I feel like I’m back to normal since my surgery! Thanks for all the prayers!
Thank you all for your emails, prayers, and encouragement. I can’t do this without you!
Serving with you in Mexico,
Crystal
