Momentum Returns

Support Update (Good News!) I want to share an inspiring analogy here about how things are going for us, but I don’t think that it’s needed. What is needed is being provided! We’ve been praying throughout the slow-down we’ve all been in and are still walking through, that God would resume His work in the […]

We just posted a big Year in Review post on our bl We just posted a big Year in Review post on our blog and to the email list. As you know, a whole lot of life happened in 2022 and it's likely that 2023 will be no different. We'd love to fill you in.

You can find links to LISTEN or READ at my profile site.

To “tend a loved one in decline” - part 2 The To “tend a loved one in decline” - part 2

The beautiful thing is how the light breaks through the fog. If the responsibility, the challenges, the emotional heaviness is the fog, the grace of the gracious high-priest, Jesus, is that light that for now makes the fog glow with incredible beauty and will one day burn off the fog.

And for now, the wise words of Douglas McKelvey are a comfort:

“Love is wearying in this way, and even we who deeply love the ones we serve, need grace upon grace upon grace lest we despair. For in our giving, we are ever drained and so often depleted. We long for what we are too long without: respite and refreshment. So be our rest, O Christ, when there is no other rest to find.”
