This morning at 4:45 I sat up in bed to the sound of the truck alarm going off. I almost rolled over and went back to sleep, thinking, “It can’t be our truck…the sound is too far away.” I jumped up to look out my window and reassure myself that, indeed, the truck was safe and sound, but I couldn’t see it.
