Since our last update…

We flew to town last week because Laura needed to see the doctor.

The day after that, Laura suggested that since there was a flight going back into the village the following day that I return and finish up some work while she recuperated.

So, while she was following doctor’s orders to rest, I returned to the village and finished up checking lessons for 1 Corinthians and when that was completed, I printed those lessons (30 books) for the upcoming Bible teacher’s seminar. I also finished checking 1 Timothy scripture since we’re getting ready to have 1 & 2 Timothy officially checked.

The hardest part of all that was being separated, but we survived. We were reunited after 4 days and since Laura’s birthday is coming next week we decided to celebrate early by going to the big city for a couple of days. We got some rest there and completed the bit of shopping that needed to be done.

If all goes according to schedule and Laura continues to feel well, we will be returning to the village on Monday – the same day the seminar starts.

So, we not only ask you to continue to pray for Laura’s health, but please pray for the Bible teachers. There will be about 50 people attending the seminar. Please pray for their time together as they listen to the teaching from 1 Corinthians.
