Philippians 4:6 (NKJV) Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
The trip from the city started just after 4:00 Tuesday morning and we arrived in the village at noon. Flying takes just over 30 minutes and doesn’t leave you exhausted like this trip did. As you can see, the scenery along the way was beautiful but we still prefer to fly. The vehicle kept overheating on the steep inclines so we had to stop from time to time. We’re so thankful for these guys who normally fly us to our location but went out of their way to drive us here since there isn’t a plane available.
Please be praying for NTM aviation. They are replacing the Cessna with a helicopter. The Lord provided wonderfully for the helicopter. It’s scheduled to arrive the beginning of April and should be flying sometime in May, just in time to fly us back to the city when our time here is done.
Please be praying for Lance. Although weak from being sick, he felt well the day of the hike but then started feeling sick to his stomach the day after our arrival and every day since.
Other than not feeling well, it’s good to be back in the village and see our village friends and our coworkers, Ron and Michelle.
Our main prayer request is that God give us the strength to complete the tasks He brought us here to do.
Thank you for your partnership with us,
Lance & Laura
